Bastiaan Reurink | CEO & Founder
I'm Bastiaan Reurink, founder of Potje, where I focus on product and strategy to make saving together simple. I come from the fintech world, with years of experience building digital financial products. I love focusing on user-friendly experiences, and I want Potje to be as simple as possible for our users.
The Potje team deals with the complicated stuff in the back end, but for you, managing money with friends should be as easy as creating a WhatsApp group. In my free time, I love to go surfing, actual surfing, not browsing the internet, and I volunteer at a sea rescue service in The Hague.
Ilya Bershadskyi | CTO & Co-Founder
I'm Ilya, co-founder and CTO of Potje, where I turn coffee and cloud infrastructure into things that (hopefully) work in production. My background is in software engineering — over the years I've built systems at scale for some of Europe's largest companies. At some point though, you start wondering what it would feel like to build something truly your own. That curiosity led me to Potje, where we're rethinking how groups of people save and manage money together.
When I'm not architecting payment systems, you'll find me attempting to speak to my houseplants in three different languages to see which one makes them grow faster. The results are inconclusive, but the Dutch fern seems to be winning.
Jordan Abrahams | Fractional CMO
I'm Jordan and at Potje, I lead marketing and growth. As a fractional CMO, I focus on building the strategy, systems and positioning that turn strong products into clear, trusted brands. I’ve worked with both startups and established tech companies, helping them scale through sharper messaging, structured go to market strategies and inbound engines that drive measurable results.
I joined Potje because I believe financial tools should encourage better habits, not create friction. Saving with friends should be simple, transparent and accessible, and building the brand behind that mission is something I genuinely stand behind.

I'm Jane, a part of the development team at Potje, where we work on turning ideas into real features that make saving together simple and fun. I studied economics, but at some point I discovered programming and caught the coding bug. Working at the intersection of finance and software development feels like a natural fit.
I joined Potje because I love seeing my work actually shape the final product — here I can really feel my impact. In my free time, I recharge by walking along the beach, and feed my curiosity by traveling to new places.

Hi, I'm Mina. I manage all our social media platforms and help execute new marketing strategies. While new to Fintech, I'm not new to consumer behavior and decision making, which is key to marketing.
